Today was the last day for Coe Hill postmaster

COE HILL — After 14 years in charge of the mail at the Coe Hill post office, Loretta Wotton retired Dec. 31.
She and husband John plan to do some travelling before getting ready for the spring tourist season at Coe Hill Gold and trout farm on Lower Faraday Road, reports Brent Goodwin.

Parents of Coe Hill United Church minister die in car crash

COE HILL – A Peterborough couple killed in a Christmas Eve car crash on County Rd. 10 were the parents of Rev. Kim Falls, Coe Hill’s United Church Minister.
Deputy Reeve Brent Goodwin also reports that Falls arrived in the village in September.

Holiday carolers strolled through Coe Hill in -22º weather

The evening of Dec. 17,  ten Christmas carolers strolled through the village of Coe Hill singing carols to the neighbours
It was very chilly but our enthusiasm kept us very warm
This idea was inspired by volunteers for the Coe Hill Wild West Weekend
