HIGHER TRAFFIC FINES for the NEW YEAR
PETERBOROUGH COUNTY — Effective January 1st, 2010, some fines under the Ontario Highway Traffic Act are doubling, tripling, or even quadrupling:
Seat Belt violations are increasing from $110 to $240

COE HILL – A Peterborough couple killed in a Christmas Eve car crash on County Rd. 10 were the parents of Rev. Kim Falls, Coe Hill’s United Church Minister.
Deputy Reeve Brent Goodwin also reports that Falls arrived in the village in September.
