Ottawa considers making lifejacket use manditory in all boats after a summer of drownings on Ontario waterways

Federal officials are mulling over new rules to require everyone in a boat to wear a lifejacket, the Toronto Star reports.
It’s already law to have enough personal floation devices — PFDs for short — in all boats. It just not law that you have to wear them.
